Features of
the Bunkhouse
The
old stone and oak beamed cow shed has been converted into welcoming
accommodation for up to 14 people in three bedrooms with three
individual shower/toilet rooms providing plenty of hot water, shaving
and hair drying facilities after a long day exploring this
wonderfully interesting area.
A
comprehensively equipped modern kitchen with dining/common room
provides a friendly area for catering, socializing and planning the
next day's activities, or for more educational seminars and courses.
We even have a TV and video for your entertainment.
In
the adjoining area to the bunkhouse is a separate lockable room
which is used for drying wet clothes and footwear and equipment.
Storage for canoes and bikes is also available as well as stabling
and grazing for horses should you bring those along with you also!
A bridle path
meanders past the bunkhouse and eventually connects with the old
Roman road across Mynnyd Illtyd where Roman and other ancient remains
can be explored. There are many more walks and rides of interest;
details of which are available upon request.
For
the benefit of all our visitors the main bunkhouse is a smoke and
pet free zone.
